An 11 day, 100 hour AcroYoga teacher training by AcroYoga Prem, held at the Children of the Mountain Retreat Center on the Los Alisos farm in La Calera, near Bogotá. Training takes place in a large dome, and participants stay in shared rooms or tents on site.
The program combines acro technique (flows, washing machines, pops and whips) with yoga, handstands, Thai massage and teaching methodology, plus history, philosophy, anatomy, ethics and injury prevention. Entry requires an application with a skills video; prerequisites include stars, free shoulder stand, foot to hand and a 10 second handstand.
Tickets from the organizer: training fee 1,650 USD (normal price), accommodation from 322 USD (camping) to 535 USD (private double cabin).
